Surprise… Liverpool are determined to keep Salah and won’t let him leave in January!

Liverpool’s management has no intention of allowing Mohamed Salah to leave the Reds during the upcoming winter transfer window, despite the significant disagreements between him and manager Arne Slott at the moment.

International newspapers have already begun speculating about Salah’s next destination, especially since his recent comments about Slott make it virtually impossible for him to play under the Dutch coach again.

At the same time, Liverpool’s management supported Slott’s decision to exclude Salah from the last three matches, as well as the Egyptian’s absence from the trip to Italy for the Champions League match against Inter Milan.

Nevertheless, The Athletic reports that Liverpool are committed to keeping Salah and have no intention of accepting any offers for him in the upcoming winter transfer window, regardless of the financial value.

Liverpool officials believe that the current crisis is “passing” and temporary, and will never affect the 33-year-old’s future at Anfield.

Liverpool’s insistence on keeping Salah could mean that the decision to sack Arne Slott has already been made and is just a matter of time before it’s implemented, thus practically ending the crisis for the Egyptian star.

It’s worth noting that a meeting will be held between Salah and Liverpool after the player returns from the Africa Cup of Nations, during which all matters will be discussed. It’s also worth mentioning that Saudi Arabian clubs, and more recently San Diego in the MLS, have all expressed interest in acquiring the Reds’ star player.
