Egyptian media outlets have reported that Al Ahly player Bilal Attia has received several offers from German clubs recently.
Attia is considered one of the most promising talents in Egyptian football and has attracted the attention of numerous European clubs. His name was even linked at one point to German giants Bayern Munich.
According to recent reports, the 17-year-old has received an official offer from Hannover, who contacted Al Ahly in the past few hours regarding their young star.
Hannover wants Bilal Attia to travel to Germany in mid-January for a 10-day trial period before a potential permanent transfer.
Bilal Attia previously had a similar trial with Stuttgart last summer, and officials from the prestigious German club were impressed with him, deciding to pursue his signing in January.
A battle is reportedly underway between Stuttgart and Hannover for the services of Attia, who will turn 18 at the beginning of 2026.
Attia’s Al Ahly and Egyptian youth national team teammate, Hamza Abdel Karim, received an offer from Barcelona to join the Catalan club in January, and negotiations are said to be in their final stages for a loan move to La Masia academy.
