Barcelona secured three crucial points with a 3-1 victory over Atlético Madrid at the Camp Nou in La Liga.
Los Rojiblancos took the lead through Alex Paña in the 17th minute, but Rafinha equalized for Barcelona in the 25th minute.
Robert Lewandowski missed a penalty in the 35th minute, but Dani Olmo put Barça ahead in the 65th minute.
Unfortunately for Barcelona, Olmo scored the goal but then went down in pain and left the field with what appeared to be an injury to his left shoulder.
Minutes later, Pedri was also forced to leave the game due to muscle pain.
Both players had only recently returned to action for Barcelona after missing the entire last month due to various injuries. They will undergo further tests in the coming hours to determine the extent of their injuries and the expected duration of their absence.
In the final minute, Ferran Torres scored Barcelona’s third goal, securing the victory for Hansi Flick’s team.
Barcelona increased their points tally to 37, maintaining their lead in La Liga, while Atlético Madrid remained on 31 points in fourth place.
