Ronaldo Fulfills His Dream and Meets US President Trump

The British newspaper, The Mirror, reported that US President Donald Trump will receive football legend Cristiano Ronaldo at the White House later on Tuesday evening.

Ronaldo had previously expressed his desire to meet Trump in an interview with British broadcaster Piers Morgan, believing the US president is capable of achieving peace, which is currently the Portuguese legend’s ultimate goal.

Ronaldo’s visit coincides with the presence of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the White House, and there is some possibility that Ronaldo will be part of the official meeting between Saudi and American officials, given his close relationship with bin Salman.

Ronaldo’s role in America will not end with the meeting with Trump. He will also be part of a promotional match between the Portuguese national team and the United States in 2026, shortly before the start of the World Cup, with the aim of encouraging American fans to attend the tournament.

Ronaldo has been trying to reach Trump for some time, having sent him a jersey with the President of the European Council, the Portuguese António Costa, bearing the message: “To President Trump, we play for peace.”

It is worth noting that Ronaldo has extensive business ties in America, and it is said that part of his investments lie in large real estate holdings in New York City.
