Cristiano Ronaldo led his team, Al-Nassr, to a crucial 3-1 victory over NEOM in their match for the eighth round of the 2025-26 Saudi Pro League.
Al-Nassr took the lead through Angelo Gabriel in the 47th minute, and then Cristiano Ronaldo added a second goal from the penalty spot in the 65th minute.
Ahmed Abdu narrowed the gap for NEOM in the 84th minute, before João Félix sealed the win with a powerful strike in the 86th minute.
While Ronaldo and João Félix play for the same team, there is a rivalry between them, particularly for the title of top scorer in the 2025-26 Saudi Professional League.
Since joining Al-Nassr, Félix has become the league’s top scorer, surpassing his compatriot Ronaldo. The former Atlético Madrid star is arguably the most successful signing in the Saudi Professional League this summer, considering his contributions so far.

Despite being 40 years old, Ronaldo remains as effective in front of goal as ever, scoring in almost every match. He’s chasing his biggest dream: to score 1,000 career goals before retiring. The easiest way to achieve this is by scoring consistently every week in the Saudi League.
