Fermin Lopez led Barcelona to a resounding 6-1 victory over Olympiacos at Montjuïc Stadium in the third round of the Champions League.
It was a historic night by all standards for Lopez, as he scored his first professional hat-trick.
Fermin scored twice in the 37th and 38th minutes, then added the fifth in the 76th minute. Marcus Rashford also scored twice, and Lamine Yamal converted a penalty.

Lopez became the first Spanish player to score a hat-trick for Barcelona in Champions League history.
At 18 years and 100 days old, Yamal also became the second-youngest player in history to score a penalty kick in the Champions League, after Bojan Krkic in 2008, when he also scored for Barcelona against Sporting Lisbon (18 years and 90 days).
This is the first time Barcelona has scored six goals in a European match since the night of the comeback against Paris Saint-Germain in March 2017.
Barcelona’s tally now stands at six points, temporarily moving into third place until the end of this round.
