Mbappé and Huijsen’s fitness for Getafe match revealed

The Athletic revealed the fitness of Kylian Mbappé and Dean Huijsen for Real Madrid’s match against Getafe next week after the end of the international break.

Huijsen left the Spanish national team camp hours after joining up with Luis de la Fuente’s squad, complaining of muscle fatigue, later diagnosed as a soleus injury.

Mbappé participated with the French national team in the match against Azerbaijan, scoring one goal and assisting another, before leaving the match in the 83rd minute due to an ankle injury. He was subsequently excluded from the French camp and returned to Madrid.

According to the latest report, Mbappé’s pain is decreasing daily, and if things continue as planned, the 25-year-old will be able to participate in the match against Getafe next Sunday.

As for Huijsen, he has not yet fully recovered, so he is unlikely to be available for the match against Getafe. However, he is expected to be ready for Wednesday’s Champions League match against Juventus at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Unless further developments emerge, either Mbappé or Huijsen will be able to participate in the El Clásico against Barcelona on October 26.

In the same vein, there is great optimism within Real Madrid that either Trent Alexander-Arnold or Dani Carvajal, or one of them, will recover in time and participate in El Clásico, given the noticeable improvement in their condition in recent days.
