Erling Haaland has been named Premier League Player of the Month for September 2025, following his impressive performances for Manchester City.
Haaland beat off competition from Emi Buendia (Aston Villa), Daichi Kamada (Crystal Palace), Sean Longstaff (Leeds), Declan Rice (Arsenal), Ruben Ruifs (Sunderland), Igor Tiago (Brentford), and Danny Welbeck (Brighton).
The Norwegian international’s win was only fitting given his impressive September performance, scoring five goals and providing one assist in just three games.
The 25-year-old has scored two goals against Manchester United, two against Burnley, and one against Arsenal. He currently leads the Premier League scoring charts with nine goals.
This is the fourth time Haaland has won the Premier League Player of the Month award since joining Manchester City in the summer of 2022.
Haland first won the award in August 2022, then in April 2023, and most recently in August 2024.
This award brings Haaland level with Premier League legends Thierry Henry, Frank Lampard, Heung-Min Son, Jamie Vardy, Alan Shearer, Paul Scholes, Dennis Bergkamp, and Marcus Rashford, who have each won the award four times.
