Sport reported that the son of Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane, Elias, is attracting significant interest from Barcelona, and that the Catalan club’s officials are currently monitoring him in preparation for an attempt to sign him next summer.
Elias is Zizou’s youngest son, born in 2005. He began his career in Real Madrid’s youth system in 2013 and moved to Real Betis in 2024. Unlike his father, he plays as a center-back and is distinguished by his height and great physical strength.
According to the Catalan newspaper, Barcelona is monitoring 12 players for the 2025 U-20 World Cup currently being held in Chile. One of the most prominent names among these players is Elias Zidane, with Blaugrana scouts monitoring his progress and putting him under close scrutiny before making a final decision on whether to sign him.
