Good news for Zamalek ahead of Al Ahly’s summit match

Zamalek received reassuring and happy news ahead of their Egyptian Premier League match against Al Ahly regarding their star player, Nabil Emad Dunga.

Dunga left Zamalek’s recent match against El Gouna due to an abdominal muscle injury, leaving his participation against Al Ahly in doubt.

According to Egyptian media reports, Dunga has fully recovered from his injury and is 100% fit to participate in the summit match against Al Ahly.

Coach Yannick Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief with this news, especially since Zamalek currently has no player capable of playing in the No. 6 position in Dunga’s absence.

Mohamed Shehata is expected to miss the summit due to his failure to recover from his injury, as is Mahmoud Gehad. Ahmed Rabie has just returned, but it is risky to include him given that he has not played a single match since the beginning of the season due to various injuries.

Zamalek tops the Egyptian Premier League standings with 17 points, while Al Ahly sits in sixth place with 12 points, with the Red Castle having one match less.
