Kylian Mbappé congratulated his French teammate, Ousmane Dembélé, on winning the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
The Real Madrid star had repeatedly expressed his unwavering support for the Paris Saint-Germain star’s Ballon d’Or win, stating that no other player had done as well as Dembélé last season.
Dembélé won the Ballon d’Or, beating Lamine Yamal by a wide margin, after leading PSG to a historic treble.
Mbappé commented on Dembélé’s win by posting a photo of the two of them, writing, “You deserve it 1000 times, my brother.”
Mbappé finished seventh in the final Ballon d’Or rankings after a season that wasn’t his best collectively with Real Madrid, but was exceptionally impressive in terms of his individual performances at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Mbappé skipped the ceremony, held at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, knowing his chances of winning the award were slim, preferring to rest, especially since the ceremony came just 24 hours before Real Madrid’s La Liga match against Levante.
