The Egyptian international played a key role in Liverpool’s 2-1 Merseyside derby victory over Everton, assisting the opening goal for Dutch star Ryan Gravenberch, setting yet another historic record.

Salah also became the ninth player with the most assists in Premier League history, with 89, tied with James Milner, the former Liverpool and Manchester City star and current Brighton player.
The “Egyptian King” is just five assists behind Dutch and Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp’s 94, four behind City legend David Silva’s 93, and three behind Steven Gerrard.
Graffenburg commented on Salah’s assist, saying, “We know that if Mohamed Salah receives the ball, he will make an amazing pass.”
Meanwhile, Salah has now scored 149 goals in 149 appearances for Liverpool at Anfield, a figure that reflects the 33-year-old’s significant impact on the Reds.
Salah is the fourth-highest Premier League scorer of all time with 188 goals, and is currently chasing third place behind Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney, who scored 208 goals for the Red Devils and Everton.
