Football will play a major role in determining the wedding date of Cristiano Ronaldo and his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez.
Georgina announced that Ronaldo had proposed to her and that she had accepted, making it only a matter of time before the couple announced their marriage after a relationship of more than eight years.
According to journalist Alberto Guzman, Ronaldo and Georgina are currently considering the ideal wedding date, which has not yet been finalized.
At the same time, it is most likely that the wedding will take place after the end of the 2026 World Cup, i.e., after July 19 of that year, so that Ronaldo can finish the tournament he dreams of winning and effectively bid a perfect farewell to football.
The wedding is expected to take place in Portugal, Ronaldo’s hometown, rather than in Saudi Arabia or Argentina, as other reports have indicated.
Guzman indicated that Ronaldo gave Georgina more than one expensive gift when he proposed, not just the ring, which was estimated to be worth $3 million.
The Don also gifted his Argentine girlfriend a Porsche, two watches worth over 50,000 euros, and clothes from two well-known designers worth over 30,000 euros.
