Jack Grealish has agreed to join Everton on loan, while Savinho is close to a permanent move to Tottenham. The same applies to James McAtee, for whom Nottingham Forest will pay £20 million.
Now, City has financial room, first by selling McAtee and Savinho (over €70 million), in addition to a dire need for Rodrigo to provide ample options on the wing after the departure of the three players.

According to Romano, Real Madrid initially wants €100 million for Rodrygo, especially given the summer transfer window this year for players who may be of lower quality than the Brazilian star.
City is unlikely to pay €100 million for Rodrygo, but negotiations could reduce the figure to €80-90 million, noting that the player himself is open to the idea of joining Pep Guardiola’s squad.
