Details of Liverpool’s astronomical offer to Newcastle for Isak revealed

Liverpool will make Alexander Isak the most expensive player in Premier League history, and British media have revealed the offer that Reds officials intend to submit to Newcastle to complete the deal before the end of August.

The Swedish star has left Newcastle’s current training camp and is training alone in Spain at Real Sociedad’s stadium, as part of his ongoing pressure on the Magpies to allow him to move to Liverpool.

Recent reports have revealed that Liverpool officials have earmarked a total of £140 million (€161 million) with flexible payment terms to complete Isak’s deal as quickly as possible.

Liverpool will pay Newcastle £60 million this summer and another £60 million in the summer of 2026, guaranteeing the English club a fixed value of £120 million over two years. This is something that usually doesn’t happen, as such huge sums are paid in installments over three to five years.

Another £20 million will be subject to change, and interestingly, most of these are achievable, such as the number of goals the player scores, the titles Liverpool will win, and individual achievements such as the Ballon d’Or and the Premier League’s top scorer, among others.

Despite the seemingly legendary offer, it is expected that Newcastle’s management will attempt to negotiate a slightly higher value. However, everyone at St. James’ Park believes that the deal is a done deal, and Isak’s move to Liverpool is only a matter of time.

It is worth noting that Liverpool has agreed on all personal terms with Isak, while Newcastle have begun working to secure a replacement for the 25-year-old Swede, with RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko currently at the top of the list.
