Luis Diaz to join Bayern Munich for a huge sum!

Bayern Munich has finalized its long-awaited deal for the summer of 2025, reaching an agreement with Liverpool to sign Luis Diaz.

Liverpool rejected Bayern Munich’s initial offer for the Colombian international a few weeks ago, which was valued at approximately €67.5 million.

Barcelona withdrew from the race to sign Diaz after Liverpool’s exaggerated financial demands, paving the way for the Bavarian club to land the 27-year-old.

Sky Sports reported that Liverpool have accepted Bayern Munich’s final offer for Diaz, worth up to €75 million in total, including add-ons.

Discussions are currently underway between Bayern Munich and Liverpool regarding the details of the add-ons and the payment method, whether in cash or in installments. A few minor touches remain, after which the deal will be officially announced.

With this value, Diaz is the third-largest signing in Bayern Munich’s history, after Harry Kane (€100 million) from Tottenham in 2023 and Lucas Hernandez (€80 million) from Atletico Madrid in 2019.

Diaz will be Bayern’s third signing of the season, following the free signings of center-back Jonathan Tah and midfielder Thomas Bischoff.

Liverpool is expected to use the huge sums from the Diaz deal to finance the signing of Alexander Isak from Newcastle, which is expected to reach €150 million, the highest fee in Premier League history.
