After Garcia and Williams, Barcelona is working on a third significant deal

Barcelona continues its summer transfer activity, this time attempting to secure an attacking signing for a young player considered one of the best in the world.

The Catalan club has already signed goalkeeper Juan Garcia from Espanyol for €25 million and has effectively sealed the signing of Neco Williams from Athletic Bilbao for €60 million.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Barça has entered negotiations with Roony Bardghji, the right winger for Danish club FC Copenhagen.

The 19-year-old has received much praise over the past two years, and his outstanding performance against Manchester United in the 2023 Champions League is unforgettable.

Bardghji’s contract with Copenhagen expires in December 2025, and Barcelona wants to secure the deal this summer by taking advantage of the fact that his club will agree to sell him for a modest sum rather than letting him leave for free next winter.

The Blaugrana face fierce competition for Bardghji, with Porto having already made an official offer two weeks ago. Several European clubs are also monitoring the situation and pursuing the Swedish international. It’s worth noting that Bardji is of Syrian descent and was born in Kuwait, but he holds Swedish citizenship and has represented the Swedish national team at youth level.
