Al-Youm newspaper revealed that Al-Hilal’s management has set two conditions for agreeing to the idea of signing Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.
The Portuguese star’s contract with Al-Nassr expires next June, and the Knight of Najd is trying by all means to keep the Portuguese legend, offering him an astronomical salary and a stake in the club.
According to the latest report, the option of Ronaldo moving to Al-Hilal remains open, despite reports that the Blue Wave’s management has rejected the idea proposed by the Saudi Investment Fund.
Al-Hilal officials have set two conditions for accepting Ronaldo’s signing. The first is that the contract be for only one year, and the second is that all the privileges he enjoyed at Al-Nassr, including the ability to participate in technical and administrative decisions, will be revoked.
Ronaldo’s exact position on the move to Al Hilal is still unknown, although the parties involved are keen to complete the deal in order to reap the enormous commercial profits from the 40-year-old’s participation in the 2025 Club World Cup.
It’s worth noting that Ronaldo has also assured those close to him that he has no intention of moving to any club on loan to participate in the Club World Cup, and that if he leaves Al Nassr, he will sign with another club for a long period until he retires from football.
The move to Al Hilal remains difficult for Ronaldo due to his connection to Al Nassr fans. Furthermore, his son plays in the Al-Alamy youth teams, making a move to his eternal rival difficult on both a personal and sporting level.
