Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Al-Nassr’s matches after a period of absence, leading the club to a 2-0 victory over Al-Khaleej in the Saudi League.
Since the Al-Ittihad match, in which he became furious, Ronaldo has been absent from Al-Nassr, citing physical overwork. Many interpreted this as a result of his dissatisfaction with the way things were going at the Saudi club.
Ultimately, Ronaldo returned to the pitch against Al-Khaleej, and was the star of the match, missing a penalty and scoring another.
The 40-year-old failed to score a penalty in the 64th minute after shooting the ball awkwardly off target.

However, in the final minute, Al-Nassr won another penalty, and this time, Ronaldo was able to score.
Ronaldo turned to the Al-Nassr fans after the goal and apologized for the first missed penalty, a gesture that underscores the strong relationship between the player and the fans.
The Portuguese star has now scored 24 goals in the Saudi League, making him the competition’s top scorer. He has also scored a total of 33 goals in 29 matches across all competitions.
