The Mirror reported that Al-Hilal Club has a strong interest in signing Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Portuguese international’s contract with the Red Devils still extends until 2027, but his representatives have entered into intensive discussions with Al-Hilal officials in the coming days.
The English newspaper confirms that an important meeting took place between Al-Hilal officials and Bruno Fernandes’ representatives last Monday, resulting in what appears to be a near-agreement between the two parties on all details.
However, there are no negotiations between Al-Hilal and Manchester United, nor have any official offers been submitted by the Saudi club to the English club so far.
Al-Hilal’s task of signing Bruno will be difficult, as the Mirror indicates that the United management has no intention of letting him go next summer and considers him an essential part of the team, especially since coach Ruben Amorim emphasizes this on every possible occasion.
Amorim recently said, “Bruno won’t leave. I want him here because we want to win the Premier League again, and that’s why we need the best players. He’s 30 years old, but he’s still young. We want him to stay with us, and he won’t leave.”
It’s worth noting that Bruno Fernandes has played 52 games in all competitions this season, contributing to 37 goals (19 goals and 18 assists).
