Reports: Ronaldo May Move to Chelsea to Participate in the 2025 Club World Cup

Cristiano Ronaldo’s chances of participating in the 2025 Club World Cup are increasing, and there is now talk of interest from a major European club in signing him.

Al-Nassr did not qualify for the World Cup due to its ranking, while the Portuguese star is close to renewing his contract with the Saudi club for another two years.

According to Transfer Live News, there are talks for Ronaldo to move to Chelsea and participate in the 2025 Club World Cup.

The transfer of the Don to the Blues will not be permanent, but rather a one-month contract that will allow him to participate in the World Cup with the London club.

After that, Ronaldo will return to complete his career at Al-Nassr, especially since he and Al-Alam officials have already reached an agreement to renew his contract until after the 2026 World Cup.

If Ronaldo joins Chelsea, it will be his second experience in English football after Manchester United, where he played for two spells and left Old Trafford in late 2022.

It is worth noting that media reports previously reported that Al-Ahly of Egypt had tried to sign Ronaldo on loan for the opening match against Inter Miami, led by Lionel Messi, but the Red Castle management denied this.
