Antonio Rudiger celebrated Real Madrid’s qualification to the Champions League semi-finals by chanting “Allahu Akbar”.
The German star scored the final penalty kick that led Real Madrid to overcome Manchester City and advance to the semi-finals for the 17th time in the history of the Royal Club.
While Rudiger was celebrating with the fans, one of the cameras approached him, and he chanted “God is great” to express his happiness with the victory.
It is known that Rudiger is a Muslim player, and he even recently suffered racism in Germany from a journalist because of a photo of him with a monotheistic sign congratulating Muslims on the month of Ramadan.
The German star, of Sierra Leone origin, now aspires to lead his team to overcome Bayern Munich, and with it reach the final match of the Champions League scheduled for Wembley Stadium.
