Harry Kane has continued to rewrite history with Bayern Munich, becoming the fastest player to reach 100 goals in Bundesliga history—achieving the feat in just his 98th appearance in the competition.
The English striker netted his milestone 100th league goal from the penalty spot in the 39th minute against Union Berlin, doubling Bayern’s lead during their Matchday 4 Bundesliga clash.
Kane surpassed the previous record held by Dieter Müller, who needed 129 matches to reach a century of goals—meaning the England captain reached the mark an astounding 31 games faster.
Since joining Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023, Kane has scored 151 goals in 154 matches across all competitions, already elevating him to seventh place on the club’s all-time scoring list.
The 33-year-old finished as the Bundesliga’s top scorer in each of his first three seasons. Last season, he produced the best campaign of his career, recording 61 goals and 7 assists in 51 matches for Bayern, which brought his total to 73 goals in 65 games when including his international appearances for England.
This latest milestone further strengthens Kane’s candidacy for the Ballon d’Or, coming on the heels of winning the European Golden Shoe, claiming domestic silverware with Bayern, and leading England to a third-place finish at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The record-breaking night formed part of a dominant performance by Vincent Kompany’s side, who cruised to a 7–0 victory over Union Berlin. Michael Olise scored his first career hat-trick, while Kane added a second goal to his opening tally, taking his early-season record to 6 goals in just 7 matches across all competitions.
