Ziyech leaves Europe and moves to an Arab club

Hakim Ziyech has completed his agreement with Qatari club Al Duhail to join its ranks during the current winter transfer period.

The Moroccan star has suffered a lot at Galatasaray, and since last November he has announced that his relationship with the Turkish club has ended and that he will inevitably leave in January.

According to Qatari media, Ziyech arrived in the capital, Doha, on Tuesday and will undergo a medical examination within a few hours, then he will be announced as a new player at Al Duhail.

The 32-year-old also received an offer from Al Nasr of the Emirates and was close to moving to it, but in the end he decided to have his first experience outside Europe with Al Duhail.

This season, Ziyech has only participated in 11 matches with Galatasaray and has not scored or assisted, and now he hopes that the Al Duhail experience will be a “savior” for his career.

It is noteworthy that the player has clearly announced that his goal is to return to the Moroccan national team and participate in the upcoming African Cup of Nations in his country, scheduled to start in December 2025.
