Why are Real Madrid stars angry with Carlo Ancelotti?

Echoes of Real Madrid’s farewell to the Spanish King’s Cup are beginning to emerge, and one of them is the anger of Real Madrid’s stars towards coach Carlo Ancelotti for one reason.

This reason, according to Radio Cadena SER, is the decision to rotate the goalkeepers, which causes the duo Kepa and Andriy Lunin to lose confidence greatly.

Lunin had a somewhat inconsistent performance in the Atletico Madrid match in the King’s Cup, although he showed outstanding levels in the Super Cup final against Barcelona.

According to the report, Real Madrid players were surprised that Ancelotti removed Lunin for a period after he showed his brilliance, and they also do not understand why he insisted on a rotation policy between the two duos.

Real Madrid’s stars clearly want Ancelotti to decide who will be the team’s primary goalkeeper until the end of the season, although the majority prefer Lunin after Kepa’s modest levels this season.

Real Madrid included Kepa on loan from Chelsea to compensate for the absence of Thibaut Courtois after suffering a cruciate ligament injury, and the Spanish goalkeeper’s start was largely acceptable.

But after his injury in November, Lunin shone, and caused a major crisis for Ancelotti, considering that he had two good goalkeepers, so he decided to rotate between them from time to time.

Kepa is expected to return to Real Madrid’s goalkeeper in the next Las Palmas match after sitting as a substitute in the Barcelona and Atletico Madrid matches.
