Video: A strange goal takes Al-Ahly to the Egyptian Super Cup final

Al-Ahly booked its place in the Egyptian Super Cup final after defeating Ceramica Cleopatra with an unanswered goal in the semi-final.

This edition of the Egyptian Super Competition will be held with the participation of 4 clubs in the Spanish Super System, for the first time in the history of the tournament.

The Al-Ahly and Ceramica match was largely balanced, and the two teams wasted many opportunities, and the tie continued until stoppage time.

In the 92nd minute, Imam Ashour penetrated Ceramica’s right front, then sent a cross that hit the Ceramica defender’s foot and then the crossbar, then bounced back and hit defender Justice Arthur and into Mohamed Bassam’s net, announcing the winning goal for Al-Ahly.

The Red Giant will face Future in the final match next Thursday, with the match starting at seven in the evening, Egypt time, at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium.

It is noteworthy that Al-Ahly is the title holder of the last two editions of the Egyptian Super Cup, and is also the club that has won the shield the most 13 times.
