Two happy news for Real Madrid before facing Girona

Real Madrid received a positive boost after a disappointing 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid, and ahead of next week’s upcoming summit against Girona in La Liga.

According to AS newspaper, it turned out that the injury suffered by Eduardo Camavinga in the derby is not serious, and therefore he will be ready to participate in the upcoming confrontation with Girona.

There were reports that the Frenchman’s injury occurred in the same knee that caused him to miss the Merengue for two months, which may cause a setback that could keep him out of the field for a long time.

However, the tests that the player underwent in the past hours proved that the injury was just a bruise, and he participated normally in the team’s training on Monday.

The second very good news is that Antonio Rudiger is in the process of recovery, and will be able to participate normally against Girona after his absence against Atletico Madrid.

This will mean that Dani Carvajal can once again be relied upon at right-back, with the reassuring duo of Rudiger and Nacho returning to central defence.

Real Madrid leads the La Liga standings, two points ahead of Girona, and 8 points ahead of third-place and defending champion, Barcelona.
