Simeone comments on his quarrel with Vinicius

Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone refused to talk about the quarrel that occurred between him and Vinicius Junior during the Real Madrid match in the round of 16 of the King’s Cup.

As usual, Vinicius suffered from booing and provoked the fans, which angered Simeone and caused a quarrel to break out between them, as a result of which the coach received a yellow card.

After the match, Simeone was asked about what happened with the Brazilian international, and he simply said, “There is nothing for me to comment on this matter.”

As for the victory over Real Madrid itself, he said, “We are facing the best team in the world. We played well and controlled the match, and this time we succeeded in winning.”

He concluded, “Griezmann scored almost his most beautiful goal with Atletico Madrid, and in general we attacked very well in this match and we deserved to win and qualify.”

It is noteworthy that this is the second time that Atletico Madrid has defeated Real Madrid this season, after beating them 3-1 in the Spanish League, and “Rojiblancos” also lost 5-3 to Real Madrid in the Super Cup.
