Salah’s agent defends his return to Liverpool and reveals the secret

Rami Abbas, Mohamed Salah’s agent, confirmed that his client’s departure from the Egypt national team camp was due to the injury being greater than initially thought.

Salah was subjected to a fierce attack because of his decision to return to Liverpool to receive treatment, provided that he returns to the Egypt camp again if he succeeds in recovering.

Abbas wrote on his account on the X website in defense of Salah against the attacks he was being subjected to, “The injury is more serious than initially thought. Salah will be out of action for 21 to 28 days.”

He also added, “The best chance for him to play again with Egypt is for him to go through an intense rehabilitation program in England and then return when he is fully fit.”

Given the period specified by Abbas, it seems that Salah’s chances of even reaching the final match, if Egypt reaches it, are almost impossible.

Salah will be present in the decisive match between Egypt and Cape Verde in the group stage, from the stands, after which he will travel to England to begin his treatment program.
