Ronaldo: I was lost at Manchester United, but I am not finished yet and become a world scorer!

Cristiano Ronaldo did not hide the difficulty of his period with Manchester United, during which he described himself as “lost”, but he succeeded in recovering his level and achieved what he considers an achievement by becoming the world’s top scorer in 2023.

During his interview with the Portuguese newspaper Record, Ronaldo said, “If you go back and look at what happened to me at Manchester United and the national team, you will see that people considered me lost.”

He also added, “But the truth is that I focused on myself and had a great period with Al-Nassr, and that is why I scored 54 goals last year.”

The 39-year-old continued, “I am not surprised by what I offer because I know that I have a lot of abilities that I can offer.”

He continued, “I know that I am capable of scoring a lot of goals for Al-Nassr and the national team, so it was really wonderful on a personal level to score 54 goals.”

He concluded, “They cannot take this award (best scorer in 2023) from me because it is real… and this makes me very happy, because the numbers prove the truth.”
