Real Madrid’s fiery response to Xavi’s accusations of refereeing bias

Real Madrid responded through its official channel to the accusations leveled by Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez regarding the arbitration of bias towards the Royal Club.

Xavi had said after the Real Betis match, and commenting on the Real Madrid-Almeria match, that Barca’s task of winning La Liga is difficult due to refereeing bias.

Real Madrid TV responded by saying, “It is strange that Xavi finds strange things happening in the Spanish League.”

“It seems normal to him that during his entire career, for 20 years, his club was paying the vice-president of referees around 8 million.”

The channel continued its fierce attack, “There are 600 matches in Xavi’s career as a player with Barcelona, during which he won titles, the authenticity of which is now questionable!”

As for the conclusion, it was a bit harsh: “It is the truth. Your club is under indictment. The entire period during which Xavi was a player at FC Barcelona is being investigated.”
