Real Madrid regains its star against Almeria, and Ancelotti is “happy” despite the loss to Atletico!

Lucas Vázquez has once again returned to Real Madrid’s squad in preparation for the match against Almería in the 21st round of the Spanish League.

The right-back suffered an injury that prevented him from participating in the Spanish Super Cup, as well as the Royal Club’s loss to Atletico Madrid in the King’s Cup.

Carlo Ancelotti announced in the press conference for the Almeria match that Vasquez was ready, and added, “With the exception of Courtois, Militao and Alaba, everyone is fine and has the opportunity to participate. This is a very good thing for us.”

The Italian coach talked about the Almeria match, and said, “We are focusing on tomorrow’s match against a team that scored six points, but deserved to win over Girona and played well against Atletico and Barcelona.”

As for the defeat by Atletico Madrid, he said, “We have improved a lot since the first defeat in the league, and in the cup we played a very good match, but we were defeated. However, I was happy with the performance we presented.”

He concluded, defending the mistakes of the duo, Andrey Lunin and Kepa, “There is no goalkeeper who does not make mistakes. The controversy over this matter comes from abroad. There is no discussion within Real Madrid about it.”

It is noteworthy that Real Madrid occupies second place in the Spanish League standings, one point behind leaders Girona, with one game less for Los Blancos.
