Real Madrid practices its favorite pastime and topples Almería in the last moments!

In the final meters, Real Madrid succeeded in achieving an important victory over Almeria with a score of 3-2 at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in the 21st round of the Spanish League.

The Royal Club had won the Super Cup with a 4-1 victory over Barcelona, then bid farewell to the King’s Cup with a 4-2 defeat with Atletico Madrid, and the Almeria match was seen as an opportunity to restore balance after the derby tragedy.

The bottom of the Spanish League took the lead through Larji Razmani in the first moments, then Edgar Gonzalez scored the second goal in the 43rd minute.

Almería’s early goal was the quickest goal conceded by Real Madrid (after just 38 seconds) since January 2015 (Ellustondo’s goal for Real Sociedad also after 38 seconds).

This was also the first time that the Merengues trailed by two goals at home in the Spanish League, while failing to shoot even a single shot on goal since the 2003-2004 season.

Real Madrid came back with difficulty after Jude Bellingham reduced the gap with a penalty kick in the 57th minute, and ten minutes later Vinicius Junior equalized for Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

In the last minute, Real Madrid practiced its favorite hobby of deciding matches before the final whistle, and Dani Carvajal scored the victory goal, thus seizing control of the top spot in the La Liga standings.

Real Madrid’s tally rose to 51 points at the top, two points ahead of Girona, before the Catalan club plays its match this round against Sevilla on Sunday.

Even if Girona succeeds in winning and regaining the lead, it will be temporary, given that a postponed match awaits Real Madrid in February, with which it could once again move away from the lead by two points.
