Real Madrid finds Carvajal’s successor in Manchester City

Marca reported that Real Madrid is eyeing the signing of Yann Couto, the Manchester City player loaned to Girona.

The Brazilian full-back has been active in Girona since last season, but his loan to the current La Liga leaders ends at the end of the current season, after which he returns to Manchester City.

Florentino Perez’s management believes that it must find a young replacement for Dani Carvajal in the right corridor, and Couto has already attracted attention after the performance he has presented in the past months.

The 21-year-old Couto joined the Brazilian national team in the October 2023 camp, and it is now seen that he will be one of the best right front players in the world.

In his previous statements, Couto announced that his childhood dream was to join Real Madrid, and that Cristiano Ronaldo is his ideal.

Despite expectations that the player would welcome joining the Royal Club, convincing Manchester City to give up a player of this quality will be difficult by all standards.

This season, Couto participated in 23 matches in all tournaments, during which he scored two goals and assisted six others, and his market value reaches 12 million euros.
