Real Madrid encourages the Bayern Munich star to rebel!

Real Madrid officials contacted Alphonso Davies, the left back of Bayern Munich, and asked him not to renew his contract with the Bavarian club so that they could sign him next summer.

Real Madrid is currently searching for a new left-back, in light of expectations that Ferland Mendy will leave in the next Mercato and the lack of other options at the required level in the Royal Club.

Davies’ contract with Bayern Munich expires in the summer of 2025, and renewal negotiations between him and the German club are not going smoothly as a result of his high financial desires.

According to what was reported by the German “Sky”, Real Madrid is urging Davies not to renew his contract with Bayern until Christopher Freund’s management becomes open to selling the player next summer instead of him leaving for free in 2025.

Although Davies feels comfortable at Bayern Munich, the lure of playing for a club the size of Real Madrid makes it very likely that he will follow the Spanish club’s plan and join them next summer.

The Canadian player’s agent had confirmed in previous statements how “proud and honored” he was that there was interest from Real Madrid specifically in signing his client.

It is noteworthy that Davies, 23 years old, joined Bayern Munich for 14 million euros in the winter of 2019, and his value next summer is expected to range between 40 to 50 million euros.
