Real Madrid players and officials do not stop reacting to Gerard Piqué's comments, in which he considered that the club's victory in the 2022 Champions League will not be remembered by anyone.
Real coach Carlo Ancelotti had responded by saying that Pique "lives in his own world" and does not realize the truth, as more than one player and official commented on these statements afterwards.
The latest response was Joselu, Real Madrid's player on loan from Espanyol, who told Cadena Cope: " The last Champions League title will be immortal forever, it was crazy in terms of football, Pique said that because he is from Barcelona and is jealous."
" I don't know if anyone doesn't remember this title, what title will they really remember? Who will forget how to come back in the semi-finals and decide qualification like this, and what also happened in the final".
At the same time, Joselu expressed hopes that his loan will turn into a permanent transfer next season.
"I hope to continue with Real Madrid even if another striker is signed, as he has different potential than those in the front line now."
"I want to score more goals than last season, then I scored 17 goals, if this season he scored 18 goals, it will be a good development."
This season, 33-year-old Joselu has played 16 games for Real Madrid in all competitions, scoring 5 goals and assisting two others.
