“Plan C”… What will Real Madrid do if it fails to sign Mbappe or Haaland?

Defensa Central newspaper claimed that Real Madrid has 3 plans for the upcoming summer transfer period to support the outspoken striker position.

The first and most prominent plan is to sign Kylian Mbappe, even if the French player plays more on the left wing, but the situation can continue in the same way as the current season and rely on him as a striker from time to time.

As for the failure to include Mbappe, the first alternative plan is to sign Erling Haaland from Manchester City, in light of what is rumored about the existence of a penalty clause that would allow him to leave in the summer of 2024.

The third, and somewhat surprising, plan is that Real Madrid’s management has its sights set on signing Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

The Nigerian renewed his contract with Napoli with a release clause worth up to 120 million euros, and the player himself announced that he is leaving next summer in agreement with his club.

If Mbappe’s accession continues to falter, and failure to sign Haaland, Real Madrid will move with all force to include Osimhen next summer.

The first reason for bringing up Osimhen’s name is that coach Carlo Ancelotti is very convinced of his abilities, and President Florentino Perez believes that the striker’s capabilities are similar to those of Karim Benzema and that he can explode more at the Santiago Bernabeu.
