Paris Saint-Germain star to critics: Mercy, I am a human being, not a robot!

Randel Kolo Muani, the Paris Saint-Germain player, demanded that the press stop directing violent criticism towards him, stressing that he has been suffering a lot since his arrival to the French club.

Kolo Muani joined PSG in the last hours of the Mercato last summer for 90 million euros after his unparalleled brilliance with Eintracht Frankfurt.

The 25-year-old did not perform as expected given the huge number he was paid, as he scored only 8 goals in 23 matches in all tournaments.

Kolo Muani spoke about his suffering in Paris, saying, “In Germany, I felt confident, and that is why I was giving what I did on the field. All I need now is to be happy and confident.”

He also added, “I am happy in Paris, but not as was the case in Germany. At first, the criticism affected me. I am a human being, not a wall or a robot. I have feelings, but I am not sad.”

He continued, “I have seen criticism since my arrival in Paris. Criticism makes you develop and is like advice, but I did not expect to receive all of this once I joined Paris.”

He concluded, “I know that some people think that I do not deserve to have 90 million paid for me, but I repeat, you will see what I have, it is simple.”
