Officially: La Liga decides on Tchouaméni’s position on the Madrid derby

The Spanish League officially announced its rejection of Real Madrid’s appeal to cancel the yellow card received by Aurélien Tchouaméni in the Getafe match.

Real Madrid filed an appeal on the grounds that the yellow card came in a game that was ruled offside, in contravention of the known rules for warnings.

But La Liga responded officially by rejecting the appeal and confirming the yellow card, and with it it became certain that the French star would not participate against Atletico Madrid due to the suspension for accumulating cards.

Tchouaméni will leave Real Madrid in real trouble thanks to this suspension, given that Antonio Rudiger will also most likely not join the Atletico match due to injury.

Carlo Ancelotti now has only one option at the heart of defence, which is Nacho, and he will have to rely on either Dani Carvajal or Ferland Mendy next to the captain in the upcoming derby.

Real Madrid is at the top of La Liga, two points behind Girona, and has not suffered any local defeat except against Atletico Madrid in the first round in Metropolitano, with a score of 3-1.

In the round of 16 of the King’s Cup, the Royal Club was also bid farewell on the hands of the neighbor after it was defeated 4-2, in the match that followed the Super Cup semi-final match in Saudi Arabia, and then Ancelotti’s men won 5-3.
