Official: Milan sign Terraciano from Verona

Milan have officially confirmed the permanent signing of 20-year-old wing-back Filippo Terracciano from Hellas Verona.

Terracciano has signed a contract until the summer of 2028 and will wear the number 38 shirt during the first few months of his time at San Siro, a statement from Milan’s club website has confirmed. Recent reports indicate that the Rossoneri have paid a total package of €5m for Terracciano’s services. This is believed to be made up of €4m up front and €1m in bonuses.

Verona will retain a 10% sell-on clause on any future sale. The versatile youngster arrived in Milano on Monday and completed his medical later in the morning. He had not been involved in Verona’s eventful 2-1 loss against Inter at his new home on Saturday.

Until Saturday, Terracciano had been involved in every single one of Verona’s Serie A fixtures in 2023-24. 14 out of 18 had come as a starter. At present, the 20-year-old has 39 top flight appearances to his name. Milan find themselves in action against Atalanta in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals on Wednesday evening and will return to Serie A business with a visit from Jose Mourinho’s Roma on Sunday.
