Official… Egypt reveals the duration of Mohamed Salah’s absence

The Egyptian Football Association announced in an official statement the nature of Mohamed Salah’s injury and the expected duration of his absence from the stadiums.

The Liverpool star was injured in the first half of Ghana’s last match, which ended in a 2-2 draw.

According to a statement by the Egyptian Football Association, after conducting the necessary tests, it was found that Salah had a severe injury to the posterior muscle.

Fortunately, the tension is not strong or has reached the stage of tearing, and thus Salah will only be absent from the field for a week and a half to two weeks.

On this basis, Mohamed Salah will not be present in the decisive match against Cape Verde next Monday, as well as the round of 16 match if the Pharaohs succeed in qualifying.

It remains to be noted that Salah scored one goal and assisted another during Egypt’s first match against Mozambique, but he did not provide anything significant before his injury in the Ghana match.
