Mbappe: I may leave Europe, we are in a new era for football!

Kylian Mbappe, the Paris Saint-Germain player, confirmed that the idea of leaving Europe and playing in Saudi Arabia and America is possible, given the new era in which football is living.

Mbappe’s contract with PSG expires at the end of this season, and the Saudi League has announced its intention to include him in the Roshen League Stars Series, despite realizing the difficulty of the task.

In an interview with GQ magazine, Mbappe was asked about the departure of important players from Europe to Saudi Arabia and America: “We are entering a new era of football.”

He also added, “It is normal. It is the cycle of sports and at some point I will also have to leave for Europe.”

He concluded in this regard, “These changes do not worry me, and I am simply thinking of continuing my career by following my own path.”

Mbappe was also asked about the possibility of participating with the France national team in the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he confirmed his desire but stressed that he would not push for it to happen.

The PSG star continued, “I have reached a stage in my life and career where I no longer want to impose things.” If they let me, I’ll do it. “I will go with great pleasure but if that is not possible I will understand.”

He concluded, “For any athlete, the Olympic Games have a special place and I really wanted to go to Tokyo because I want to win everything and write my name in the history of the French national team.”
