Klopp announces his final decision regarding Barcelona training

Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has closed the door on any attempts from Barcelona to obtain his services next summer.

According to what Radio Catalunya reported, Catalan club president Joan Laporta intended to contact the German coach and try to convince him to succeed Xavi Hernandez.

But sources close to Klopp clearly confirmed that whatever happens and whatever offers are available on the coach’s table, he will not work next season under any circumstances.

Perhaps after hearing this information, Laporta will remove Klopp’s name from the list of coaches, as those close to the Reds coach clearly confirm that there is no chance for Barcelona or anyone else to sign the 57-year-old.

Klopp had clearly announced when confirming his departure from Liverpool that he would not coach any club or national team for a year, and that he was entertained by the idea of retiring from coaching in general.

Perhaps his closing the door on Barcelona through those close to him in this way will increase the chances of his compatriot Hansi Flick in coaching Barcelona, in light of the great support he enjoys from President Laporta.
