Jordan reaches the Asian Cup final thanks to the double of Al-Taamari and Al-Naimat in South Korea

The Jordanian national team qualified for the final of the 2023 Asian Cup, which will be held in Qatar, after achieving a historic victory over the South Korean national team 2-0 in the semi-finals.

The match was a repeat of the confrontation that brought the two teams together in the group stage, and at that time it ended in a positive draw with two goals for each.

But this time, Yazan Al-Naimat was able to lead Jordan in the 53rd minute, then Musa Al-Taamari scored a wonderful goal in the 66th minute, ending the Koreans’ hopes of reaching the final.

This is the first time in history that the Jordanian national team has succeeded in reaching the final, after its greatest achievement was previously reaching the quarter-finals in 2004 and 2011.

Coach Hussein Al-Amota’s squad will prepare to face the winner of the Qatar-Iran match in the final match scheduled for next Saturday at six in the evening at the Lusail World Cup Stadium.
