Hours after the historic match, Bayern Munich wants to “steal” Alonso!

The German “Sky Sports” network spoke about the Bayern Munich management’s intention to sign Xabi Alonso, the current coach of Bayer Leverkusen, to become the coach of the Bavarian giant in the future.

This news came a few hours after the sweeping victory achieved by Leverkusen, led by Alonso, over Bayern, and with it the gap between the two teams widened to 5 points in favor of the Pharmaceutical Factory team at the top of the Bundesliga.

According to “Sky”, Bayern’s management has its sights set on contracting Alonso, despite all the assurances that came out that current coach Thomas Tuchel will remain in his position until the end of his contract in the summer of 2025.

The German administration believes that Alonso is the ideal choice to lead the club’s current project in the future, and perhaps it will try next summer to sign him.

In general, fierce competition awaits Bayern, as all English media indicate that Alonso is the greatest candidate to succeed Jurgen Klopp in Liverpool, and the coach is also receiving great interest from Chelsea and Barcelona.

Alonso’s contract at Leverkusen is still extended until the summer of 2025, but in light of the interest of adults in him, he is expected to leave at the end of the current season.
