Hours after announcing Xavi’s departure, Tuchel flirts with Barcelona fiercely!

Thomas Tuchel, Bayern Munich coach, opened the door to a great deal of controversy about his future, after he indirectly hinted at his desire to coach Barcelona.

The German coach’s statements came a few hours after Xavi Hernandez announced his departure from the Blaugrana at the end of the current season, and with it the beginning of the search for a new coach.

Although Tuchel has a long-term contract with Bayern Munich, there are many rumors about the management’s dissatisfaction with the way he manages the team’s technical management, and there is an intention to dispense with his services at the end of the season as well.

During a press interview, Tuchel was asked about his future, and he replied, “Leaving Germany is a possibility for me, specifically to the Spanish League.”

He also added, “From my point of view and from my dealings with Spanish players, they have great confidence in themselves.”

He concluded, “When you talk to Spanish players, I quickly feel that you are interacting with this person.”

Many considered these statements to be a hint, given the time he issued them, and that he might try to attract Joan Laporta’s management to think about him, especially since his future does not seem safe inside the Allianz Arena.

It is noteworthy that Tuchel and Bayern bid farewell to the German Cup in the first round. He also occupies second place in the Bundesliga, two points behind Bayer Leverkusen, and is waiting to face Lazio in the round of 16 of the Champions League.
