He surpassed all Real Madrid legends… a historic record for Jude Bellingham

Jude Bellingham continues to write history with Real Madrid, this time after scoring two goals against Girona in the Spanish League.

The English international reached goal No. 16 in La Liga this season, thus becoming the top scorer, ahead of Girona top scorer Artem Dovbek (14 goals).

Bellingham became the first Real Madrid midfielder to score 15 goals or more in one season during the twenty-first century, surpassing all the legends of the Royal Club.

Bellingham has a goalscoring tally in La Liga after only 6 months at Real Madrid, surpassing major stars such as David Beckham, Michael Owen, Arjen Robben, Wesley Sneander and Michael Laudrup.

In general, the 20-year-old remains the top scorer in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad this season, with 20 goals in 29 matches in all tournaments.

In 29 matches, Bellingham scored more goals than Beckham scored for Real Madrid in 155 matches!

Bellingham’s next challenge will be the Champions League, with Real preparing to face Leipzig in the first leg of the round of 16 next week.
