Harry Kane continues to write history in Bundesliga

Harry Kane entered the history of the German League from its widest gates after only 5 months he spent at Bayern Munich.

The English international scored his 22nd goal this season in the Bundesliga alongside the Bavarian giant, and it came against Hoffenheim during Bayern’s 3-0 victory on Friday.

Kane thus became the player who scored the most goals in the first half of a single Bundesliga season, and equaled the historical record set by Robert Lewandowski in the 2020-21 season.

The 30-year-old Kane raised the difference between him and the closest pursuers in the battle for the top scorer in the Bundesliga, Serho Djerassi, to 5 goals, after the Stuttgart striker scored 17 goals.

Despite all of Kane’s efforts, he has so far failed to give Bayern Munich the top spot in the German League.

Bavarian defeated Hoffenheim by three, reducing the gap with leaders Bayer Leverkusen to one point, before Xabi Alonso’s squad played Saturday’s match against Augsburg.
