Guardiola talks about Barcelona’s unparalleled “hell”!

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola stressed that working in Barcelona imposes incredible pressure on the coach, which makes him understand Xavi Hernandez’s decision to leave coaching the Catalan club.

Guardiola took charge of Barcelona from 2008 to 2012, and was the most successful coach in the history of the Blaugrana. However, he faced many difficulties that he described earlier as causing him to lose his hair.

The philosopher was asked about Xavi’s decision to leave Barcelona, and he replied, “In my experience, the pressures in Spain can never be compared to England.”

He also added, “The pressure you feel in Barcelona cannot be compared to any other club in the world. I am very sympathetic and feel the extent of Xavi’s suffering.”

He concluded, “Here in Manchester City, I find everything a coach could dream of. The management always supports me and the players, and there is a very positive atmosphere.”

During his speech, Guardiola also said that he does not intend to leave Manchester City, pointing out the possibility of renewing his contract, which expires in the summer of 2025, unless he finds something new.

It is noteworthy that Guardiola took over as coach of City in 2016, and since then he has succeeded in achieving many championships, and last season is considered his most successful after achieving the historic treble.
