Guardiola mocks Real Madrid because of Haaland!

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola ridiculed the news circulating about Erling Haaland’s unhappiness and his desire to leave for Real Madrid.

The newspaper “Marca” published that the Norwegian international’s loss of The Best award angered him greatly and made him think about leaving for Real Madrid to gain a strong media presence.

Reports also claimed that Haaland suffers from the always cold weather in Manchester, all of which are factors that will make him leave Manchester City.

Guardiola was asked about these rumours, and he responded, “We have no feeling that Haaland is not happy here.”

He continued sarcastically, “Perhaps the media in Spain, especially in Madrid, has more information than us in this regard.”

It is noteworthy that Haaland has just returned to Manchester City after a two-month absence due to injury, and is still the top scorer in the English Premier League, jointly with Mohamed Salah, with 14 goals each.

Haaland hopes to open his scoring record in 2024 after failing to do so during the Citizens’ 3-1 victory over Burnley last week.
